2. Data we process
A free account contains a name, email address, a scrypt-protected password record, language and marketing preferences, optional Plus interest, and consent, creation and sign-in timestamps. Sessions contain hashes of random identifiers, CSRF protection, an expiry time and a technical user-agent hash. The newsletter waitlist contains email, language, source, status and timestamps.
3. Why we process it
Account data is used to provide the account service you request. Security, session and rate-limit data protect the service under our legitimate interests. Waitlist data is processed with consent. Plus interest helps assess a future product and does not create a paid contract.
4. Service provider and location
The site, server functions and D1 database run on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare processes technical data as a service provider under its terms and applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
An account remains until you delete it or request deletion. An expired session is no longer accepted for sign-in and can also be revoked. A waitlist record remains until it is removed or consent is withdrawn. Security and audit records are kept only as needed to protect the service and handle legal claims.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority.
